Endowed Scholarship Circle

Xavier is unique in its Catholic identity and its commitment to help students grow spiritually and academically. Students, their families, the Church, and our community all benefit from a Xavier education; a high quality Catholic learning environment that extends far beyond the classroom.

Gifts to the Scholarship Endowment Fund of $10,000 or more may be designated in your honor, the honor of a family member or a special friend of Xavier. Named Endowed Scholarships not only benefit generations of Xavier students, they also serve as a lasting gift that perpetuates your name or the name of a family member, friend, or organization. The donor’s name becomes a part of the fabric of the school. In return, Xavier students provide a living legacy to the donors of the named endowed scholarships.

Building the Scholarship Endowment Fund is a Critical Need for the Xavier Foundation

Building the Scholarship Endowment Fund is a critical need for the Xavier Foundation. Approximately $200,000 in scholarship support is needed annually to provide needs-based scholarship for Xavier students. Without scholarship funds, many of these students simply could not afford to attend Xavier. The amount needed each year increases as our enrollment continues to grow.

Our goal is to raise $1 million for the Endowed Scholarship Fund. Gifts to this fund are invested in a permanent trust held by the Foundation to provide long-term strength and growth to the scholarship program. The earnings generated by the principal of these gifts will provide financial aid for deserving students each year.

Many opportunities exist for creating an endowed scholarship and making a significant difference in the lives of students - today and far into the future.

Your Gift Can Help a Xavier High School Student Regardless of the size of your gift, you can help a Xavier student. Gifts can be made in a number of ways including, gifts of cash or check; gifts of appreciated securities; and gifts through charitable estate plans. If your employer matches employee gifts, you could double your donation! All gifts to the Xavier Scholarship Program are tax deductible. Please consult your tax advisor for details.

A Note From Grateful Xavier Parents: “My husband and I are so thankful for all that Xavier High School is providing our son; reinforcement of sound values and a strong sense of community; a team of educators who actively engage students and are invested in their success, and opportunities to develop in fine arts, athletics, and organizations. We are so grateful for the financial aid we are receiving and for the generous individuals who make the Scholarship Program possible.” - Grateful Xavier Parents

A Commitment to Catholic Education The Xavier Foundation and Xavier High School are committed to making a Catholic education affordable for students and families. In order to accomplish this goal, a needs-based scholarship program has been established by the Xavier Foundation.

This Scholarship Program enables Xavier to meet one of its most cherished responsibilities - to remain accessible to parish families of limited financial means throughout the metro area and to serve the entire Catholic community.
