Randy Scholer and Doug Valentine Lead 2010 Business Appeal

The Xavier Foundation 2010 Business Appeal will kick-off with a breakfast meeting on Thursday, February 4, 2010 on the Xavier campus.

Randy Scholer, attorney with Simmons Perrine Moyer & Bergman, PLC, and Douglas Valentine, State Farm Insurance, will serve as campaign chairs of the Xavier Foundation’s 2010 Business Appeal.
Scholer and his wife Colleen are members of All Saints parish and have three children, Kristen (X07), Jonathan, and Quinton. Valentine and his wife Amy are members of Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton parish and have three children, Mitchell (X10), Carter (X12), and Ben.

Scholer, Valentine and more than 80 volunteers seek to raise $105,000 for Xavier High School. Also serving on the leadership team for the campaign are team captains: Tom Ekland (L78), Seltec Sales; Donna Garland, Nesper Sign; Duane Jasper, RuffaloCody; Jeff Kaiden, (L72), Principal Financial Group; Joe Kirby, Lynch Ford Chevy; Bruce Kramer, AEGON; Jim McPartland (R75), TrueNorth; Becky Picard (L66); and Kirk Sadilek, Principal Financial Group.

Beginning in February volunteers will visit with more than 300 area businesses. Business owners have generously supported Xavier High School over the years knowing it is an important asset to our community. In return, Xavier returns an estimated $10 million to the community and saves taxpayers nearly $3 million each year by educating more than 780 students who would otherwise be in the public school system.

The Xavier High School Foundation wishes to thank the business and corporate donors for their generous support. Please consider the businesses listed in the 2009 Business Listing when purchasing goods and services as a way of showing your appreciation for their support of Xavier. This list includes donors to the 2009 Business Appeal as of June 15, 2009.

If you have questions about the Business Appeal contact Lynn Jump, Annual Fund Director.
